Final Paper Submission

Here is a checklist of what must be completed for final submission:

  1. Please edit your paper to take into account your reviewers comments. Ensure that your paper is thoroughly proof-read, and that the references are complete.
  2. Please ensure that your paper is formatted according to the template provided. Pay particular attention to font sizes, particularly within figures. Note that papers may be a maximum of 6 pages.
  3. Prepare an IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file of your paper, using PDF eXpress Web tool to check that the paper is compatible. Note that papers which are not compatible will not be published.
    • create your IEEE PDF eXpress account by going to , and using Conference ID: ivcnz09x
    • upload the source file (containing your paper) for conversion;
    • use the IEEE PDF eXpress to obtain (by email) an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper
    • note that IEEE PDF eXpress is only a web tool to help you generate IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper. It is NOT the paper submission system for the conference. Your final paper (in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF) must be uploaded in EDAS.
  4. Upload your final paper into EDAS by 9th November 2009 at the latest.
  5. Complete the copyright form and upload into EDAS by 9th November 2009.
  6. Download the registration form and submit with payment by 9th November 2009 at the latest. To catch the earlybird rates, the registration form must be received by 30th October 2009.

Without all of these, your submission will be withdrawn from the conference program and proceedings. Also note that papers which are not presented at the conference may also be withdrawn from the proceedings.

The abstracts within EDAS will be compiled into a conference digest that will be given to delegates of the conference. It is recommended that the abstract within EDAS be expanded to give a more complete summary of your key points and results. The abstracts as at 9th November 2009 will be used.
