High Speed Produce Grading
Most produce – fruit and vegetables – is sold by weight.
This project investigated high speed weighing and packaging techniques
that incorporated image and signal processing. The complete system was
able to "weigh" and sort up to 20 items per second, with an accuracy
of about 1g.
